- 2 cups powdered sugar

Instructions
For the Brownies:
- 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
- 2. Melt the unsalted butter in a medium bowl over low heat or in the microwave. Stir in the cocoa powder until smooth.
- 3. Add granulated sugar and mix well. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, beating after each addition.
- 4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour and a pinch of salt. Gradually fold into the wet mixture until just combined.
- 5. Stir in peppermint extract and chocolate chips.
