Instructions
For the Filling:
- 1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 2. Chop the peeled apples into bite-sized chunks.
- 3. In a bowl, mix apple chunks with brown sugar and cinnamon until well coated.
For the Crust:
- 4. Roll out puff pastry sheets on a floured surface and cut into squares large enough to hold a scoop of filling.
- 5. Place a spoonful of apple filling in the center of each square.
- 6. Fold each pastry square over the filling into a triangle shape or gather corners toward the center and pinch to seal.
- 7. Arrange on the lined baking sheet and brush lightly with an egg wash.
- 8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- 9. Drizzle warm caramel sauce over each bomb before serving.
