Ingredients
Scale
For the Chicken Strips:
- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
For the Dipping Sauces:
- Ranch dressing (for dipping)
- Barbecue sauce (for dipping)
Instructions
- 1. Prepare Your Chicken: Cut the boneless chicken breasts into strips about one inch wide to ensure even cooking.
- 2. Set Up Your Breading Station: In three separate bowls, prepare:
- Bowl 1: Combine flour with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Bowl 2: Pour in the beaten eggs.
- Bowl 3: Place the panko breadcrumbs.
- 3. Coat the Chicken Strips: Dip each chicken strip first into the flour mixture, then into the egg wash, and finally coat generously with breadcrumbs.
- 4. Heat Up That Pan: Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat until it shimmers. Fry the breaded chicken strips in batches for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- 5. Drain Excess Oil: Remove cooked strips and let them rest on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
- 6. Serve & Enjoy! Plate your crispy chicken strips alongside ranch and barbecue sauce for dipping.
