- 1 lb penne pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced

- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- 1. Prepare Ingredients: Gather and chop all ingredients. Measure pasta and seasonings for easy access while cooking.
- 2. Cook Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken with salt and Cajun seasoning. Cook for about six minutes on each side until golden brown. Set aside.
- 3. Cook Pasta: In a pot of boiling salted water, cook penne according to package directions until al dente. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup of the starchy cooking water.
- 4. Make Sauce: In the same skillet used for chicken (without washing), sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about one minute). Pour in heavy cream and stir, scraping up flavorful bits from the bottom.
- 5. Combine Everything: Add cooked pasta to the sauce along with Parmesan cheese and reserved pasta water as needed to achieve desired consistency. Slice chicken into strips and return it to the skillet; mix until well combined.
