For the Pasta:
- 1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add fettuccine or linguine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, saving some starchy water.
For the Sauce:
- 1. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
- 2. Add the shrimp and sprinkle with Cajun seasoning. Cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- 3. Stir in minced garlic and chopped bell pepper; sauté for about 2 minutes until fragrant.
- 4. Pour in heavy cream and let it simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes.
- 5. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
- Combine:
- 1. Toss the cooked pasta into the skillet with the sauce mix, adding reserved starchy water as needed to reach desired consistency.
